Daddy's Girl

We had a great fathers day. We grilled out with Popi and Grandpa (of course mimi, and grandma were ther also) Daddy and Uncle Jason. We had a great time. We played cards and the girls went for a walk while the guys hung out and watched Golf. Everyone had a great time. I cut my first top tooth on sunday as well and the other one is close to cutting through. I will have 4 teeth total very soon. I also tried whole milk for the first time and I love it, maybe I will start drinking from a sippy cup now that there is good stuff being put in. I have decided that I am a big girl and I don't like baby food anymore, I only want to eat big people food. So far my favorite is grilled cheese and I love strawberries.

The best news of all that I got this week was that I am going to be a cousin. My Uncle Mark and Aunt Kat are going to have a baby in February. I am so excited and I know that I will be a great at teaching the baby all the stuff that I have learned.

Family Gathering

We went to Spartanburg SC for the weekend to have a cookout. My Mimi and Popi, Uncle Jason and Auntie Alli were there as well as Aunt Erin, Chris and Paul, Ray, Heather and their three kids. We had a good time playing games and hanging out. I showed off all of my many talents and I was a big hit. I am looking forward to July 4th when I get to go and show all of the Schleicher family what I can do.

I also had my 9 month check up last week and the doctor said that everything looks great but I am a little to small. Mom and dad have to make me eat a little more so I can gain some weight. I am allowed to eat table food now which I really like. I am becoming such a big girl.

Tu Tu much fun

It is hard to believe that Hailey is 9 months old. I thought is would be fun to put her in this little tu tu outfit now that she is going everywhere. She loves to get into everything she possibly can. Her favorite game is to pull stuff down from bookshelves, coffee tables, desks or anything else she can reach. I have fun chasing after her and cleaning up her messes. She had her fist accident the other day, she was playing at an end table and fell. When she fell she hit her chin on the corner of the table and she bit her tongue which made it bleed. She only cried for a minute or two and made the funniest face when she tasted the blood. As soon as we put her down though she went right back to the table and started playing again. She is one tough cookie.



We went over to Grandma and Grandpa's on Friday and Grandma took some 9 month picutes of her. These are just 2 out of 141 pictures. Of course they were all very cute and it is hard to pick a favorite.

Swimmin' in Savannah

We went to Savannah for a few days to celebrate mommy's birthday. We had a lot of fun at the pool and Hailey went swimming for the first time. She loved the water, she would kick her legs and move her arms like she actually new how to swim. Every time she saw the water she would get excited because she wanted to go back in.
We took her to the market and river street and around some of the squares. She really liked the fountains and even threw a penny in one of them. The only thing she didn't like doing in Savannah was sleeping, there was way too much going on and she didn't want to miss anything.

Up Up and Away

Two weeks ago we took Hailey to the Zoo for her friend Max's third birthday. She loved seeing all of the animals. Her favorites were the Lions, Polar Bear and the Elephants. We had a good time with all of our friends. This is a picture of her and her friend Phoebe in their matching outfits.



The next day mommy and daddy went out to buy some stuff to baby proof the house. Now that Hailey is crawling around we wanted to get some gates so she can't fall down the stairs. Well Grandpa came over and helped put up the gate. As soon as they were putting in the last screw Hailey decided to climb the stairs. So now she is crawling everywhere, climbing stairs, pulling up on everything and walking while holding on to things. She is really growing up fast.

I Love My Mom

On Saturday we went and saw Daddy run another Triathalon sprint and cheered him on. I am so proud of him and he did a really good job. Then I spent the night with my granparents while mom and dad went to the movies. On Sunday I celebrated Mothers day with my mom. We went to church and then back home to take a nap. I hung out with my Uncle Jason and Auntie Ali for a while then hung out with all my grandparents and my mom and dad and I played and danced and helped them play cards. Then we all went out to eat and had a great time. I was extra good for mom on Mohters day.

Party Girl

Well two weekends ago we went to Raleigh to celebrate our friend Phoebe's first birthday. Then we went to Winston to celebrate Popi's birthday (We won't mention how old he is LOL). We had a great time at both parties. We stayed in Winston for a couple days since Brian was in California. Hailey is sitting up all on her own now, she is becoming such a big girl. She loves to crawl all around the rooms and to get into tight spaces. The first picture is of Hailey and Pheobe at the party, it is the first time they have seen each other since November. The other picture is of Hailey playing hide and seek. She loves to play, we have so much fun with her and every week so is doing or discovering something new.
