ONE

Our sweet little girl turned one last Monday (and it has taken me a week to post because both girls have been sick). We had just a little get together last weekend to celebrate. It is so cute to see just how different are girls really are. Hailey can be in a room full of presents and not even care (even on Christmas she didn't even ask to open any and we ate breakfast first). But little Miss Mackenzie started ripping paper out as soon as a gift hit the floor. She doesn't even want any help, in one of the pictures Hailey is trying to help her open something and Mackenzie is pushing her away, it is cute now but I know this might be a problem a little later on.

Mackenzie liked her cake but just like her big sister she didn't want it on her hands so we don't have any cute pictures of her with icing on her face either. We went last Tuesday for her check up and she is just a little peanut. She only weighs 17.3 pounds and is 27 1/2 inches so we have to start whole milk only and all table foods with lots of butter. We had to do this to Hailey as well but it didn't work. She is absolutely refusing to stand up, she is perfectly happy crawling and playing on her knees. She has the muscles to do it, she just isn't ready yet and neither am I. I want to keep her my little baby for as long as I can.

Our two new additions!

Meet Ginger and Tumble Bear! Hailey and Mackenzie each got a gift certificate for Build a Bear for Christmas.

Hailey was so excited when we got there and had a hard time choosing which animal she wanted to make. She decided on a pink bear since pink is her favorite color. She was a little hesitant about helping the nice lady stuff the bear but she liked putting the heart in. Her favorite part of all was giving her bear her "bath". I had to pry her away and make her pick an outfit for her bear so it wouldn't get cold (ha ha). She also helped make Mackenzie's bear as well but Mackenzie picked out the outfit for her bear.  The girls had a great time and Hailey has taken Tumble bear every where with her, she even gets a hat for Tumble bear to wear outside so her head won't get cold.
