We wen to the beach last week and had a great time. It usually takes Hailey a few days to get used to the beach but this time she was a pro right from the start. She was digging in the sand and running straight to the water. She liked the waves and thought it was fun when they knocked her down. We found sea shells and flew a kite and just had a fun time playing.
Since Mackenzie can't wear sunscreen yet she only made it to the beach for a few minutes each day. We tried letting her sleep in a tent but it got too hot and she was really fussy. We did manage to take a couple pictures of her and I did dip her feet in the water and in the sand. Hopefully when we go back in September she will like it a little better and stay out longer.
We have some more pictures and as soon as I get them on the computer I will post them as well.

the pic of them in matching dresses is too cute! i'm glad you guys had a fun trip.
we definitely need another schleicher/hemphill beach trip!! all the kids would have so much fun together (and the grown-ups too!)
