Sunset Beach

We went to Sunset beach a few weeks ago. It was a nice and much needed break from a very hard few weeks. Usually when we go it takes Hailey about 3 days to get used to the sand, but not this time she was loving every inch of the beach. She ran right to the water and wanted to jump  in the waves and she was even dumping sand all over herself, it was really funny to watch. Mackenzie loved the beach as well. She would just sit and splash in the tide pool all day and if she fell over and got sand in her face she didn't care at all. It is going to be so much fun when they can both run and play together. For those of you who don't know Hailey loves to walk on her tip toes, sometimes she will actually walk on top of her toes (ouch). Well we finally got a picture of her walking on her toes, I guess we should try and sign her up for dance classes. 

Mark, Kat and Riley flew in late Thursday and stayed the weekend. Mark was in a wedding that weekend so we got to have fun watching Riley play on the beach as well. He and Hailey had a good time playing together and pulling wagons up and down the beach together. We decided that since all the kids were going to be together we would put them in their Halloween costumes and take their picture. They were so cute and were excited to get dressed up, I just hope Hailey is equally excited on Halloween. 

We took Hailey one night to play miniature golf. She didn't really play but she had fun rolling her ball around and then placing it by the hole and hitting it in with her club.
